Hello, 

    My name is Kevin Jenkins and I am 32 and live in Bakersfield, California. I am currently attending University of La Verne for my single subject credential in Social Science. I am a husband to a beautiful woman named Natalie, and I have two children Maddox (2), and Haydn (7mths). Being a family man is everything to me. My goal outside the family is to become a History teacher and be able to make a difference in the lives of as many children as I can. I want to be the type of teacher that a student comes back years later and tells me that I personally made a difference in their life. I do not think there can be a better gift in any career. Just like with being a husband and father, to be a teacher will require constant growth and change. I will always be learning and improving myself, so that I can always be the best I can in everything I try to achieve in life.
