Education 306: 

The primary purpose of this course is to provide the student with a philosophical framework, and a practical understanding, of the field of Education, by understanding how philosophies have helped to shape the U.S. educational system, defined the role of the teacher and the community, affected the politics of delivering instruction, and defined the role of ethics in education.
