Are teachers born or made?

Every person will have a different opinion, when it comes down to a teacher being born or made. I would say teachers are born. A teacher is a person who is patient, compassionate, encouraging, cares from the heart, is warm hearted, and wants a relationship and to have communication with children. When a teacher has a relationship and communication with his/her students, the students can learn more and achieve all academic areas because they know the teacher cares. I know it must be hard to like every student in the class, but just getting to know each child can help the have a special place in their heart for their teacher. Teachers need to bring joy to learning and make a difference.

What questioning strategies increase student achievement?

When students question is very important to take in consideration, because engaging and meaningful learning is taking place. A teacher can answer questions by forming groups, interactive whiteboard, or have them solve questions with guidance there are many methods to form discussions for questions. When a student is questioning in a certain subject, the student is being triggered with curiosity and this helps with learning and understanding. It’s important to always give students a response unless a teacher feels like the student is not fully understanding the question, a teacher can rephrase the question for better understanding. The next most important thing is reaction and productive feedback this will form a healthy interaction within the classroom environment.
